Roladex are a new project from the USA that use different, sometimes obsolete or dated technologies as a hopeful tribute to the dreary melancholia of a JG Ballard-esque future.

“Pink Halloween” was recorded with synthesizers, sequencers, drum computer and guitars by Elyssa Dianne and Tyler J in Amarillo,Texas 2013.

From mesmerizing & dreamy melodies to hard-knocking kicks accompanied by hypnotizing sampled vocals my music is a blend of various genres. Listening to bands like The Doors, Pink Floyd & Grateful Dead at an early age I always had an ear for melody and exploring many genres of music from different eras. This is where my inspiration for making music comes from. I began experimenting with music production in early 2009 and since then my style has evolved immensely. Trance, Hardstyle, Hip-Hop, Ambient, and Psychedelic Rock are a big part in the foundation of my music. Being able to make music music allows me to express myself beyond what any amount of words are capable of doing.

What can we trust in after everything has let us down? The true love we feel inside is never wrong, even if it hurts.
Trust in Love speaks with melodies of visual swoops, melancholic woe, and precocious pop. She is influenced by her early love of Depeche Mode, her nostalgia for Italo valiance, her playfulness with Latin Freestyle sincerity. Trust in Love’s new tracks jump off the parameters of the grid and reach into discovery. These songs tell stories and delineate scenes — a slow motion look of someone in a crowd, or how it feels to fall off the x and y axis in a non-space.
Trust in Love is a feeling that can understand and a feeling that asserts.
