The rocks below seem like they’re miles away as your knees lock and doubtful thoughts clasp and release. Your toes curl within your shoes as if to grip land and life one last time. But, as you fall, the brightest light shines upon you, the warmest breeze soothes your skin, and the most triumphant music guides you toward the end.
